Every Shimano Baitrunner spinning reel features a graphite frame and sideplate. The 3500 and 4500 have rotors made of graphite and the 6500 models’ rotor is made of aluminum for a lighter weight. The spool on these fine reels are made of a diecast aluminum and you’re sure to never lose your grip with the Flat T type rubber handle on the Baitrunner.

The Shimano Baitrunner reels have Shimano’s Super Stopper II and Power Roller III roller bearings and line rollers to reduce line twist. Feeding out the line with the bail closed prevents the line from coiling off the spool and just flick the lever on the Baitrunner for tensioned free-spool. Turn the handle and the normal drag that you have preset is automatically engaged. The Baitrunner reels are designed to allow you to enjoy fishing without having to fuss with the reel.
