Every Ross Momentum reel has a unique diameter and width to maximize the drag consistency and line retrieval. These reels have 6.3 square inches of drag surface, giving the Momentum reels three times the stopping power of every other competitive reel in their class. The Ross Momentum reels feature a triple redundancy drag system to ensure their dependability under all fishing conditions. There are a total of five reels in the Ross Momentum series with a fly rod coverage of between 7 weight to 15 weight and a Spey rate between 6 weight and 12 weight. These reels are ideal for using in all freshwater and salt water environments. The frames are constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and are manufactured on automated CNC machining centers. These reels look great too and are offered in either black or champagne.
