The Lamson Guru joined the family at Waterworks Lamson as the lowest priced and fully machined fishing reel. The signature arm-style element on the frame joins with open spokes to maximize the strength of this reel and minimizes its weight. The Lamson Guru features true large arbor ratios. These reels are available in sizes ranging from a 4 weight through 10 weight and shares the very same drag design and components as Lamson’s most expensive reels.

The spool on the Lamson Guru reel is large in circumference and wide, so that your line is stored in a shallow layer. The large circumference offers a high retrieve rate and eliminates line coil memory. You get constant drag torque during long runs and the risk of tippets breaking are eliminated due to the drag force gain.

The Lamson Guru reels are offered in an alloy that is called “Hard Alox”. This coating is much more durable than what is found on other reels and it is resistant to corrosion and has a beauty that is eye catching and distinctive in its bright metallic silver color.
