Daiwa built the Certate fishing reel with their new Real Four concept: Real Engine, Real Endurance, Real Control and Real Custom. The Certate is Daiwa’s most technologically advanced spinning reel. Daiwa set out to reduce friction in this line of spinning reels to give you smooth and efficient power when reeling in the spool.

The Daiwa Certate features ten of Daiwa’s CRBB Super Corrosion Resistant ball bearings and a precision, gear-driven levelwind that cross wraps the line to prevent line dig-in. The Certate is super lightweight thanks to its die cast aluminum alloy body, rotor and body cover. The sealed drag stays dry and water drains easily from the reel.

The Daiwa Certate is an outstanding caster. Some spinning reels make a loud and abrupt motion when closing the bail, but with the Certate, the bail easily clicks into the open position and snaps closed with confidence. Probably the most outstanding feature of the Certate reel is the smooth retrieve. There is no distracting noise or friction and pressure bites are very easily detected on this reel.
